I was invited to attend the first breakfast meeting of the National Academy of Media Arts & Sciences by Shelly Palmer, Vice Chair of the group. The meeting was held in the new New York Times Center, and it is a really nice space. Martin Nisenholtz and Vivian Schiller of the NY Times, and Peter Price, NAMAS president all spoke.
In speaking about what a lot of us call Web 2.0 or Web 3.0 or whatever, Peter said
I don’t quite know what it is, I just know we’re in it.
Hits the nail on the head.
I recognized quite a few people and was pleased to see a crowd of diverse backgrounds. A big thanks to Shelly and theĀ NAMAS people for putting this together.
