Corn Roast Networking

At the Church Corn Roast, I ran into many people, one of them, Frank, runs the church website. We talked about the community blog, and how few people comment on it.

I still think, in a small town like this, in person communication is preferred. Email is not the first means of getting someone’s attention. People don’t call your home after 8 pm.

Frank didn’t have any suggestions for getting people to grasp the community blog idea. Many people in town subscribe to my weekly email newsletter; is that keeping them from visiting the news site?

I’ll post Corn Roast picts on the blog site, we’ll see if we can get people to check it out.
