More on making your business card more about you.

August 3rd, 2007 · No Comments

This is one of my crusades, getting people to have better business cards. Last night, I spoke at an event in the city, and afterward someone who works in advertising introduced theirself to me, and handed me their card.

I looked at it, and I couldn’t read it. The type was real small, like about 6 point type. Lots of white space, real small words. Why?

Neil Patel wrote recently about what your card says about you:

When you leave a conversation and the other party has your business card, your identity is that piece of paper. Because of this representation, your business card should not only state who you work for, your contact information, and what you do, but it should also state something about you. Not in a written sense, but more so on the overall image it creates about you
