More on the biz card thing

April 13th, 2007 · No Comments

I usually hand my card to people as I say my name, -which can be hard to pronounce- and my card has a picture of my dog and horse on it. that usually elicits some sort of comment that opens into a conversation about people’s [...]

At my session at podcampNYC, the issue of using music in your video podcast came up, and several people suggested archive.org as a source.
Here is a listing from Our Media of more sources:

Networking 101 : Business cards

April 13th, 2007 · No Comments

I’m a big follower of chris brogan, who could write a book about how to meet and network.

And in the vein of imitation being flattery, I’m going to write more about how to network and how not to network.
At podcampNY, bunches of people came up and talked to me. One of the first things most [...]

NY Times redesign

April 12th, 2007 · No Comments

Looking thru the sections of the NY Times today, I see they have done a redesign of the lifestyle sections. Lots more white space between text and pictures, pull quotes stand out more, illustrations have more air around them.

PodcampNYC makes the Times

April 9th, 2007 · No Comments

So, I haven’t even gotten to posting my post-ramblings on the PodcampNYC last Saturday and the Times and CNET run an article on it:
A good article about Podcamp, Eric Skiff spoke well.
“If someone wants to speak, our answer is yes,” Eric Skiff, a PodCampNYC organizer and tech evangelist of Clipmarks.com, said in an interview with [...]

My Twitter so far

April 4th, 2007 · No Comments

Chris Brogan invited me to join Twitter last month, and I didn’t see the need for me. My initial impression was that Twitter was a way for friends to message where they were, what they were doing. I reasoned that I’m only in one of 3 places, the NY office, the NY apartment, or the [...]
