The migration of gardenfork.tv to blip.tv is now complete. Blip.tv rolled out their new flash player over the weekend, and we’ve been tweaking it and the gardenfork site. The blip.tv player works very nicely, and more enhancements are in the works.

Why the move to blip.tv from brightcove? Blip.tv is very pro-active in the small content producer space. I met Dina Kaplan, COO of Blip.tv, several months ago at a Bill Sobel NYMIEG event. I was invited to their office and to several events they hosted, got to know the crew over there, and was sold.

They host Amanda Condon, Wallstrip, Unleashed, Ze Frank, The Burg, Make, and others who I admire. The fact that so many of the noted ‘media disruptors’ work with them, plus their down to earth mindset sold me.
