
From the March 27, 2007 Wall Street Journal ( sorry i can’t get the link ) Alan Blinder, noted free trade economist/evangelist, is having second thoughts about the mantra that all free trade is great. On the front page of the paper is a list of “Most Vulnerable” jobs that are “highly offshorable” included in the list:
Computer Programmers
Film and Video Editors
Graphic Designers
That same fiber optic internet speed that allows us to do things faster ( think web conferences, etc. ) allows companies to shift work overseas.
