The internet election continues
January 30th, 2007 · No Comments
A blogger writes that the Clinton campaign plans to report that Borack Obama attended a muslim school as a child, and it runs through the media for 10 days. Its disproven,
but it still gets discussed, now in articles about how blogs can spread false news.
NEW YORK (AP) — U.S. Sen. Barack Obama hardly could [...]

gardenfork.tv gets notice on YouTube - finally
January 30th, 2007 · No Comments
I posted on YouTube what I think is one of the more compelling episodes of gardenfork.tv, where henry attacks me while i build a wooden-wire frame for the potatoes, on YouTube back in October. The idea was to drive viewers from YouTube to gardenfork.tv
Now 3 months later, I got two comments, from the same person. [...]

January 28th, 2007 · No Comments
I was in the Time Warner Center at Columbus Circle last nite and Time Warner Cable had a display of a “wireless” kitchen.
Prominent is a “Samsung H269LB/SH wireless ICE pad” fridge. It has a built in LCD screen for watching cable TV as well as some rudimentary software for tracking food inside it and leaving [...]

One of today’s New Podcasts on iTunes is the State of the Union, posted by the White House. January 25th, 2007 · No Comments
Bill Sobel calls me a media disruptor, and I read this article in the NY Times today about Isa Chandra Moskowitz who has a cable access show called Post Punk Kitchen that is also available thru Google Video.
The shows they’ve posted on their site are great. Quite long ( 22 minutes ) for a format [...]

gardenfork.tv moves up on iTunes
January 23rd, 2007 · No Comments
Apple will not release any traffic or visits information on podcasts on iTunes, but when one types in ‘gardening’ in the iTunes search bar, gardenfork.tv comes up as the first podcast. Not bad. I’ve learned fine tuning your XML RSS Feed helps. - I use Feed For All - to create them for gardenfork.tv

Email posting not working quite yet.
January 22nd, 2007 · No Comments
I like how Jeff Pulver posts entries to his blog, it looks and reads like an email. I also find it much easier to send out an email than to log in to my server and post blog entries. Get a thought in my head, send out an email; especially from my Treo.
So as you [...]

NY Times on HD Pornography
January 22nd, 2007 · No Comments
The NY Times writes about how HD may be too real for the skin industry:
Pornography has long helped drive the adoption of new technology, from the printing press to the videocassette. Now pornographic movie studios are staying ahead of the curve by releasing high-definition DVDs.
They have discovered that the technology is sometimes not so sexy. [...]
